Provide sales support to the Sales Manager while prospecting new business as well as building and maintaining relationships. The successful coordinator will also create, manage contracts and lead the efforts for social group functions.
• Ability to effectively communicate (speak, read, write) with guests and co-workers and leadership.
• Attention to detail, speed and accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperation with minimal supervision
• Good organizational skills, punctual and can handle multiple tasks
• Good interpersonal skills with an ability to establish relationships with clients and potential clients
• Support Sales Manager by Performing administrative duties
• Answer phones and ensuring all inquiries are dealt with accurately, timely and in a professional manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher
• Create and prepare contracts using standard contract format for meeting space, groups and catering events
• Maintain and strengthen partnerships with local wedding venues
• Participate in banquet menu reviews and changes
• Distribute memos, contracts and relative information to all departments
• Participate in weekly sales meeting
• Provide follow-up communication with all group contacts after conclusion of event for feedback and future bookings
• Provide site tours as requested – available during all scheduled hours
• Each associate is expected to complete, within their ability, all reasonable requests by management.
