The Sales and Catering Administrative Assistant must be highly motivate and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales and Catering Team. Duties of this position include but are not limited to Answering inquiry calls, taking down essential information in order to pass along to Sales/Catering Managers, maintaining calendars/meetings schedules, creating contracts and proposals, researching client group history, and assisting with the arrangement of new client site inspections, weekly and monthly reports. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem solving skills. Organizational skills, computer proficiency, and communication skills are a must. Working knowledge of all Microsoft platforms, word, excel, powerpoint, and Outlook required. Professional standards of personal appearance and business attire required. Candidate must have command of the English language both written and verbal.
*High School Diploma Required, Bachelors degree preferred, Previous Hotel Experience a plus.
