OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Front Desk Manager in managing guest service operations.  Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.  Supervising daily operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferred 2 years Front Desk experience.
  • Communication - Conveying information and ideas to others in a convincing and engaging manner through a variety of methods. 
  • Adaptability - Maintaining performance level under pressure or when experiencing changes or challenges in the workplace.  
  • Minimum lifting of 30lbs.
  • Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching.
  • Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Approaching all encounters with guests and associates in an attentive, courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Ability to direct and maintain productivity levels.
  • Performs employee evaluations.
  • Accommodate groups to ensure optimal levels of guest satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Act as a shift supervisor to ensure all daily functions of the check-in and check-out process are being completed at an optimal level.
  • Check-in and check-out of guests.
  • Working closely with other department.
  • Minimum of two-years front desk experience and one year of prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Responsible for using Marriott's LEARN and guest recovery models while maintaining good guest rapport.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
